You will help patients with exercises, mobility, and transfers while ensuring a positive and supportive experience. Additional responsibilities include setting up treatment areas, operating therapeutic equipment, educating patients on exercise techniques, and maintaining a clean and organized therapy environment. Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills are essential as you manage patient flow and contribute to a seamless clinic experience. **Experience**: Preferably 1+ year of experience in an orthopedic or outpatient physical/occupational therapy setting. **Skills**: - **Patient Care**: Assist with exercises, mobility, and transfers, providing a safe, positive experience. - **Physical Therapy Knowledge**: Familiarity with therapeutic techniques, basic anatomy, and rehabilitation exercises. - **Technical Proficiency**: Use of therapeutic equipment (e.g., ultrasound, electrical stimulation). - **Communication**: Strong verbal skills to guide patients and collaborate with therapists. - **Organizational Skills**: Efficiently manage patient scheduling, documentation, and administrative tasks. - **Physical Stamina**: Ability to assist with patient transfers and perform physical tasks. - **Safety Awareness**: Knowledge of infection control, hygiene practices, and body mechanics. - **Teamwork**: Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care. - **Attention to Detail**: Ensure accurate patient documentation and progress tracking. - **Time Management**: Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinic. **Key Responsibilities**: - Assist physical therapists with patient exercises and mobility training. - Maintain a clean, organized therapy space and sanitize equipment. - Prepare treatment areas and equipment for patient use. - Educate patients on proper exercise techniques under the guidance of the therapist. - Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families. - Assist with administrative duties, including scheduling and patient flow. **Qualifications**: - High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in healthcare or kinesiology is a plus. - Previous experience in healthcare or fitness is preferred, but not required. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinic environment. - A passion for health, wellness, and helping others succeed. **What We Offer**: - **Benefits**: - Time Off (PTO) - Holiday Pay - Comprehensive insurance plans: medical, vision, dental, life, and disability - 401(k) retirement plan If you are eager to grow in a supportive, collaborative team environment and make a meaningful impact, we would love to hear from you!
