PT Dispatcher

Do you keep your composure in stressful situations and have a desire to help serve your community? Support the West Allis Police & Fire Departments as a Dispatcher. Some duties include receiving 911 calls and non-emergency calls for police, fire, and emergency medical services. Dispatchers regularly utilize phones, radio equipment, Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems, door controls, and a variety of other programs within the computer system. Dispatchers are trained in or become certified in CPR, Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD), Wisconsin State Portals, and a variety of other disciplines. You must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and long and odd hours when required. Exceptional written and oral communication skills are a must for this position.
