PT Dishwasher - Encinitas

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly washed and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. **Responsibilities** - Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment. - Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed. - Properly dispose of waste and follow recycling procedures. - Assist in keeping the kitchen clean, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces. - Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients. - Support banquet service by ensuring that all necessary items are clean and ready for events. - Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. - Ensure prep stations are stocked and ready for service. - Work closely with kitchen staff to support smooth operations. - Assist with other kitchen tasks as needed to enhance efficiency and service. **Qualifications** - Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen preferred; culinary experience is a plus. - Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. - Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in a hospitality setting. - Willingness to assist in various kitchen tasks including cooking, catering, and serving as needed. - Excellent cleaning skills with an understanding of proper cleaning techniques for kitchen equipment.
