ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. - In collaboration with Communications & Training, Business Development, and other SMEs, oversee responses to proposals. - Identifies, clarifies, and evaluates proposal opportunities and requirements to support development of the overall proposal strategy and concept. - Meets proposal deadline by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval; entering and monitoring tracking data; coordinating requirements with contributors; contributing proposal status information to review meetings; transmitting proposals. - Gathers proposal information by identifying sources of information; coordinating submissions and collections; identifying and communicating risks associated with proposals. - Develops proposal by assembling information including project nature, objectives/outcomes/ deliverables, implementation, methods, timetable, staffing, budget, standards of performance, and evaluation; writing, revising, and editing drafts including executive summaries, conclusions, and organization credentials with the assistance of Subject Matter Experts - Oversee presentations by evaluating text, graphics, binding, and coordinating printing. - Maintains quality results and proposal support databases by using the Loopio platform; following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone. - Obtain approvals by reviewing proposals with key providers and project managers. - Collaborate with the Proposal Development Director for final review of all proposals. - Improves proposal-writing results by evaluating and re-designing processes, approach, coordination, and boilerplate, implementing changes. - Review other company’s responses to lost proposals. - Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; maintaining personal networks; travels to sites the company currently has contracts with to learn from the site. - Represent Advanced Correctional Healthcare at both current and potential clients’ meetings including, but not limited to, pre-bid walkthroughs and site visits. - Supports organizational goals by taking ownership of new and evolving requests, identifying opportunities for improvement, and contributing added value to job responsibilities and outcomes. - Maintain an accurate and up-to-date strategic planning manual with continuity BUS plan and goals. - Perform all other duties as assigned.
