Join us. ## Job Description AECOM Tishman is seeking a Proposal Specialist/Marketing Content Writer based in New York, NY. **About AECOM Tishman** Originally founded in 1898, AECOM Tishman has been building iconic projects for our clients for more than 125 years. We partner directly with project teams and subject matter experts to craft compelling, competitive responses that help clients understand why we're the best firm to successfully deliver their project. **About the Role** You'll be part of a dynamic team of proposal writers, graphic and 3D designers, knowledge management specialists, and communications professionals working together to help win work. We're in search of an entry-level proposal specialist to help lead the development, writing, and production of proposal responses for major construction projects. This is not a traditional marketing role and you do not need to have coursework or previous marketing experience to apply. Rather, you need to have curiosity about how construction projects come together, strong writing ability, and the interpersonal skills to work effectively with a wide range of specialists in a variety of different disciplines. You should also be meticulously organized, able to manage several projects concurrently, and cool under pressure. **A Proposal Specialists will** - Write and edit content for client proposals. - Create outlines and content plans for proposals and provides recommendations to project teams on section structure and relevant content. May serve as lead writer and editor for tailored resumes, project description sections, executive summaries, and/or project approaches for proposals. - Lead RFP kickoff and follow-up meetings with project teams, establishing clear expectations, driving accountability, and ensuring all content is delivered on schedule to support successful proposal submissions. - Facilitates structured reviews of proposals by the project team. Manages the implementation of proposal revisions based on direction from review teams. - Coordinate with adjacent departments to ensure all required RFP content is identified, collected, and integrated into proposal responses. - Support client presentation preparation in conjunction with the project team, including developing slide decks, prepping the team, and attending pitches as needed. - Perform a variety of copyediting and other writing-related tasks for marketing materials as needed. - Collaborate with other marketing department teammates to handle a dynamic workload. - Be comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple partners and stakeholders, including executives. - Complete internal debriefs for proposals, drawing on past pursuit debrief information.
