Applicants must be able to meet regularly scheduled deadlines. \*This is a hybrid role based in our Dallas office. **Responsibilities**: - Perform monthly property close process - Prepare journal entries - Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts - Maintain amortization and depreciation schedules - Set up and maintain vendor accounts in AP system - General ledger account analysis - Prepare monthly financial statements - Assist in special projects - Effectively communicate with property personnel and management **Qualifications**: - BS in Accounting - 5 or more years of accounting experience - Experience with property accounting a plus - Experience with computer-based accounting systems, PeopleSoft Oracle a plus - Proficient in MS Excel - Knowledge of accounting principles, procedures and internal controls - Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills
