You will act as the primary bridge between corporate leadership, on-site community managers, and external contractors. Your goal is to ensure all projects—from "market-ready" unit refreshes to major structural repairs—are completed on time, within budget, and to Westland’s high standards of quality. ### **Key Responsibilities** - **Project Planning & Execution:** Lead projects from inception through completion, including scoping, bidding, permitting, and final inspections. - **Vendor Management:** Vet and negotiate contracts with local San Antonio vendors and contractors. Supervise on-site work to ensure adherence to safety standards and project specifications. - **Financial Oversight:** Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and provide monthly financial forecasts and cost/benefit analyses to the Asset Management team. - **Compliance:** Ensure all work complies with Texas state laws, San Antonio building codes, and [Westland’s safety protocols](https://talents.vaia.com/companies/westland-real-estate-group/las-vegas/human-resources-business-partner-73176364/). - **Stakeholder Communication:** Provide regular progress updates to Regional Managers and Community Managers. Coordinate with on-site staff to minimize disruptions to residents during construction. - **Quality Control:** Conduct regular site visits and physical inspections of San Antonio properties to verify workmanship and material quality. ### **Qualifications** - **Experience:** 3–5 years of project management experience in real estate development, construction, or multi-family property management. - **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in Google Suite and project management software. - **Communication:** Exceptional interpersonal skills; **Bilingual (English/Spanish)** is highly preferred for the San Antonio market. - **Attributes:** A "customer service" mindset with a results-oriented approach.
