Locations: Philippines, Latin America and South Africa (100% Remote) Employment Type: Full-time Independent Contractor (exclusive commitment) Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with the candidate's market rate, experience, skills, and overall qualifications Imagine being the person who makes a fast-growing firm run like one machine instead of two. Every access you stand up gets a new engagement live on day one. Every process you document keeps running when you leave the room. Every broken handoff you rebuild saves a team from dropping the ball. That's this role. ABOUT THE ROLE You'd be joining a firm building the financial backbone for the most ambitious consumer brands in the country — combining strategy consulting rigor, Big Four precision, and founder-grade hustle to serve e-commerce and CPG companies from startup to scale. The firm runs two service lines, an Accounting Program and CFO Services, and many clients engage both. As Project Manager, Business Operations, you own the operational connective tissue that holds it all together. You make sure a new engagement has every system access it needs before kickoff, a new hire has their accounts and licenses on day one, recruiting partners are getting clear and current direction, and a client engaging both service lines experiences one firm rather than two. This is a senior operations seat. It is not a client-delivery project management role, and it is not an entry point into accounting. The person who thrives here is a builder: someone who designs a process, documents it, gets other people to follow it, and then runs it without being chased. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE - You design a process and see it all the way through — from blueprint to documentation to adoption. - You run what you build without being reminded, and you close loops before anyone asks. - You're extremely tech-savvy and pick up new software fast, always looking for automation. - You're fluent enough in financial systems to manage access and permissions with confidence. - You hold both internal leaders and external vendors to a standard, and you give the direct answer. - You do your best work in writing, across time zones, with clarity and precision. WHAT YOU'LL OWN Engagement Access Setup. Access is the first thing that has to be right. Stand up the full system access footprint for every new engagement — client accounting systems (QBO, bill pay, payroll), e-commerce and inventory platforms (Shopify, Amazon, Cin7 and similar), and read-only banking access. Access Governance. Nothing starts without it; nothing lingers after. Own the access checklist end to end — verifying it's complete before the team starts work and fully revoked at offboarding. Cross-Service-Line Coordination. Two service lines, one experience. Serve as the connection point between the Accounting Program and CFO Services for clients who engage both. Align onboarding sequences, keep scope boundaries clear across both SOWs, and coordinate joint offboarding so nothing is dropped between teams. Recruiting Coordination. Keep hiring moving against the timelines leaders committed to. Act as the operational link between firm leadership and external recruiting and staffing partners. Keep role requirements current and specific, manage candidate flow and scheduling, and track pipeline status against hiring-manager timelines. Employee & Contractor Onboarding Day one should feel handled. Run hardware and IT provisioning through vendors, software licenses and seat counts, system access, and training scheduling — for both domestic and international team members. Offboarding Close it out cleanly, every time. Execute complete access revocation, license reclamation, and equipment recovery, with documented confirmation at each step. Vendor Management. Hold the line on service levels. Hold IT, staffing, and software vendors to their contracted service levels, and document and escalate failures. Administrative Communications. Keep leadership in sync. Manage rec…
