Join us and help revolutionize energy for a sustainable future. **About the role** We are seeking a **Project Manager** to drive project execution for our **Aalo-X/Aalo Pod** experimental reactor at **INL**. This role will be responsible construction project management, including securing bids from general contractors, managing onsite construction activity, maintaining a comprehensive safety program, and ensuring compliance with applicable quality codes and requirements. Additionally, they will be managing schedules, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring deliverables are met on time. You will work closely with engineering, regulatory, manufacturing, and DOE/NRC stakeholders to keep our ambitious timelines on track. **Key Responsibilities** - Drive project execution for Aalo-X at INL, ensuring DOE authorization milestones are met. - Lead construction project execution for Aalo-X, with daily site visits as required. - Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, and risk management plans to keep projects moving forward. - Align cross-functional teams, including engineering, licensing, manufacturing, and external partners. - Manage stakeholder engagement with DOE, NRC, national labs, and commercial partners. - Track and report progress, proactively identifying and resolving roadblocks. - Ensure regulatory and technical milestones are met for both Aalo-X and Aalo-1 deployment. **Qualifications** - 8+ years of construction project management experience in nuclear, energy, industrial, or advanced civil construction. - Demonstrated experience working directly for an owner or serving as an owner’s representative, with responsibility for managing design teams, contractors, consultants, and vendors. - Proven track record of delivering complex projects on aggressive timelines from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover. - Experience managing project scope, budget, schedule, risk, procurement, change control, and contractor performance. - Experience working with DOE, NRC, or other regulatory bodies is a strong plus. - Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. - Ability to manage multiple workstreams, make informed decisions, and drive accountability and urgency across teams. - PMP or similar certification is a plus. **Why Join Aalo?** - Lead high-impact programs shaping the future of nuclear energy. - Work alongside top experts in advanced reactors and clean energy. - Be part of a fast-moving, execution-driven startup environment. **Requirements:** - Based in the United States - Willing to work on-site in Austin, TX or Idaho Falls, ID **What It Takes to Succeed at Aalo** We're building technology that will help reshape the future of energy.
