If you’re ready to make a real difference, we’re ready to support your journey. **Reimagine the possibilities.** **Your role and responsibilities** This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering Suffolk County Council’s ambitious response to Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), helping to make a real difference to the lives of victim-survivors across the county. Working within our Community Safety Team, you will lead and coordinate projects that strengthen support services, develop safe accommodation options and improve outcomes for those affected by domestic abuse. You will work closely with colleagues, partners and commissioned providers across health, policing, safeguarding and voluntary sector organisations to turn strategy into action. With a strong focus on evidence-based practice, partnership working and lived experience, you will help shape future service design, ensuring the voices of victim-survivors are at the heart of our work. This role offers the opportunity to drive meaningful change in an area of national priority, delivering innovative projects that address identified gaps in provision, while helping Suffolk meet its statutory responsibilities and long-term ambitions to create safer communities for all **You will need** We’re looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference and confident working across complex partnerships. Our ideal candidate will bring: - A degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant field - Strong understanding of public health approaches and evidence-based practice - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data - Strong communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to different audiences - Proven experience in project management and delivering successful outcomes - Experience working collaboratively across organisations and building strong partnerships - Confidence in influencing, negotiating and working within a political environment - The ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to change - A proactive, motivated and flexible approach to work It would also be desirable if you have experience working with vulnerable individuals or within domestic abuse services, and an understanding of safeguarding and trauma-informed approaches.
