Discrimination of any type will not be tolerated. ## Description NIKA is hiring for a **Project Lead/ Manager** to support our client in **Falls Church, VA**. NIKA benefits include PTO, holidays, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k matching, and an understanding of work/life balance. **Job Description:** - Lead planning, design, construction oversight, commissioning, activation, and post-occupancy support activities. - Coordinate project schedules and report progress on a weekly basis. - Participate in QA/QC oversight activities and field inspections. - Review contractor submittals, schedules, RFIs, contract modifications, and ECPs. - Identify and track construction engineering specific issues and ensure resolution. - Participate in commissioning plan implementation and building acceptance activities. - Coordinate inspections, tests, verifications, and certifications. - Participate in meetings and teleconferences and coordinate associated actions. - Provide recurring reports, presentations, and documentation. - Assist in development and support of Integrated Delivery Schedules for assigned MILCONs and major Special Projects. - Assist with project closeout documentation and archival requirements. ## Requirements Required: - MUST be US citizen and have ability to obtain security clearance - Construction Manager with a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering, 5+ years of experience in healthcare projects - 1+ years working with NAVFAC and/or USACE on medical projects. - Experience managing healthcare construction projects through planning, design, construction, activation, and closeout. - Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
