Join us and help run what runs the world. **This position reports to:** Manufacturing Unit Manager \_\_ The work model for the role is: **Onsite - Mebane, NC** **Your role and responsibilities** In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of medium-size projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by leading the project team members to achieve project requirements, deliver contracted deliverables, and meet the committed project result. You will be mainly accountable for: - Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals. - Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials. - Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued. - Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract. **Qualifications for the role** - **Bachelor degree** **in** **engineering (electrical or mechanical preferred)** - **Minimum 8 years of manufacturing industry experience** that includes project management experience - **PMP preferred** - **Supply chain experience, a plus** - Background in project management, power delivery, and familiarity with ABB solutions preferred - Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US. **More about us** ABB Smart Power provides energy distribution solutions for data centers, industrial and manufacturing plants, critical infrastructure and commercial buildings.
