As a Project Engineer in Facilities Planning & Design, your work directly supports the spaces that enable healing, innovation, and patient experience.In this full-time, hybrid role (2 days onsite in Palo Alto), you’ll be at the center of project coordination for planning and design of healthcare capital projects—keeping teams aligned and projects moving forward. You’ll manage documentation, support contracts and invoices, and coordinate meetings and schedules while partnering with project managers, architects, and vendors to deliver high-quality outcomes. With expertise across Planning, Design, Land Use & Licensing, Art, Wayfinding, Signage, and Facilities Administration, FPD turns vision into reality, creating functional, compliant, and inspiring environments aligned with Stanford Medicine’s mission.If you are interested in joining Stanford Health Care, please read the job description below and apply online. **A Brief Overview** Plans, organizes, manages and is responsible for all document control and distribution processes and systems for Facilities Services, including all construction project-related documentation received from and sent to the contractor, architect, and internal staff from initial planning and early development of a project through its completion. **Locations** Stanford Health Care **What you will do** - Meet regularly with all the parties involved to stay abreast of and track the status of construction projects at all stages. Prepare meeting agendas as needed and records and distributes minutes summarizing matters discussed and actions approved. - Scan, distribute, and file documents including (but not limited to) project designs, drawings, specifications, estimates, and correspondence to the appropriate archival repository. - Verify and correct project-related documentation where needed. - Ensure that document control and distribution systems, processes, and procedures are organized, accurate, clear, and complete. - Maintain effective and on-going communications with construction and contractor management teams. - Provide initial review of pay applications, change orders, and other incoming construction documents. - Perform other project engineering and project management-related duties as well as incidental duties as needed or assigned. **Education Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. - Degree in a work-related discipline/field (Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management) Preferred - Relevant exp…
