Other duties may be assigned. - Help the Business Units maintain and develop their information systems; - Help the Business Units with projects that involve custom programming efforts; - Ability to work with EGI Systems Analysts / Business Units on programming spec design and implementation; - Collaborate and communicate with other IT Programmer Analysts; - Work with the programming group to make sure we are using the most effective and efficient programming tools; - Troubleshoot and help support day-to-day problem resolutions at Business Units; - Provide general backup and support to EGI Information Technology Department at other EGI business units on an as needed basis. - In conjunction with IT staff and end users, develop new software applications according to specifications provided; - Work with end users on program-related problems / issues, bug fixes, and enhancements to existing software applications; - Follow current programming standards / guidelines / practices developed within the EGI IT Department while contributing to continuous improvement; - Provide Help Desk support to end users on software related issues; - Abide by all policies and procedures established by the Company and - Meet attendance requirements. - Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree required in Computer Programming / Computer Science / Information Systems or equivalent knowledge based on experience; - Three-five years’ programmer analyst experience in information systems with experience in a manufacturing environment required; - Demonstrated programming skills and understanding of relational database design and techniques.
