The two priority areas of responsibility include ensuring orientation and ongoing training of employees and ensuring all aspects of the program are developed, implemented, coordinated, and monitored to the highest degree possible. **This entry-level supervisory role is ideal for candidates with at least two years of experience in the IDD field. The position centers on hands-on direct care while offering exposure to light supervisory duties as you grow in the role.** **Why This Role:** - Personal fulfillment, a meaningful career, and the chance to make a difference. - Positively impact someone’s life. - Gain health care experience to further your career. - Reliable work schedule. - Varied day-to-day experiences; no two days are the same. **What you get to do:** - Provide daily supervision and oversight of all employees at assigned programs. - Monitor, coordinate, and ensure all services to the individual are delivered - Program supervisors are expected to ensure all direct service shifts in their program(s) are filled - Provide training for employees - Conduct monthly staff meetings - Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance. - Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve. - Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and more. ## Qualifications **What makes you a great fit:** - Minimum 18 years of age. - High school diploma/GED equivalent required. - A two-year degree in related social services and/or two years of experience working in the field of developmental disabilities with supervisory experience preferred. - Person-centered, patient, and kind - Dependable, adaptable, flexible - Observant and detail oriented - Positive role-model for others and able to work on a team - Committed to creating a respectful and collaborative environment - Computer skills for documentation - Valid Drivers License (due to transporting persons served) - Some positions / locations may require own personal vehicle and auto-liability insurance based on the role - A successful background clearance is required as part of the onboarding/employment process - Good communication is key in this role.
