**TITLE:** Program Director **DIVISION:** Huckleberry House **SALARY/WAGE:** $90,000 - $100,000 **STATUS/WORK SCHEDULE:** Exempt, 40 hours per week (Some evening and weekend hours required, including support for overnight coverage as needed) **SUPERVISOR:** Division Director of Safety Programs **POSITION SUMMARY:** The Program Director is responsible for the day-to-day management of a 24 hour/day crisis shelter focused on providing crisis intervention, assessment, case management, family reunification and counseling services to youth and families who are experiencing dysregulation in their day to day life related but not limited to: housing instability, challenges around family dynamics, and mental health. The position supports delivery of high quality residential and therapeutic services while ensuring continuity of services for clients as needed. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** 1. Design, document, implement and uphold program policies and procedures consistent with Huckleberry Youth Programs’ strategic plan, core pillars, and youth centered frameworks, while ensuring compliance with CCL requirements. 2. Manage and oversee the team of Residential Counselors, Case Managers and Residential Manager. This includes reviewing and upholding expectations for frontline staff; supporting the Residential Manager to ensure that schedules are in alignment with programmatic needs; engage with staff in weekly supervisions; and lead on all recruitment functions when positions become vacant. 3. Supervise all Residential Staff, including interns and volunteers, and provide adequate feedback as needed in a timely, respectful way. 4. Establish and maintain effective and collaborative relations with community partners, ensuring adequate referrals appropriate to the program's design, communication and collaborative practices to create efficient case collaboration. 5. Design and implement an ongoing effective outreach plan for youth, parents, CBO’s, law enforcement, probation, DPH, DHS, and schools. 6. Partner with the internal HYP finance team and Division Director of Safety Programs to develop and propose a program budget that prioritizes programmatic needs while maintaining awareness of the agency's macro financial insights in addition to consciously managing the program’s spending. Collaborate with Development to write proposals for new or expanded funding, understand objectives and outcomes identified by funders, provide feedback on trends that are reflected in the program’s data quality, host potential new and existing funders, and continue to identify ways to expand on volunteer opportunities onsite 7. Monitor program implementation to assure effective accomplishment of the program's outcome and objective goals as outlined in contracts and funding proposals and submitting program reports that reflect on program accomplishment and effectiveness as required by agency funding sources. 8. Assist the Residential Manager with the maintenance of program facilities and equipment to ensure that the facility remains functional and in compliance with licensing expectations. 9. Assist in agency management through consideration and preparation of agency plans and policies, and consistently serve as the principal communication link between the program and other units and individuals with the agency. Actively strive to minimize existing and potential silos by connecting and integrating the program and its staff with the activities of other programs and staff within the agency. 10. Participate in community groups involved in planning, advocacy, and funding activities which affect the program and its clientele, as directed by the Division Director of Safety Programs. 11. Ensure that all training expectations outlined by Community Care Licensing and funders are met by program staff on a fiscal basis. 12.
