Who We Are! 🌍 Africa has the world’s youngest and fastest-growing population. By 2035, the continent is poised to contribute more young people to the global workforce each year than the rest of the world combined. At Educate! we're obsessed with impact. We leverage iterative learning to build highly scalable youth employment solutions aimed at unlocking the potential of the world’s youngest continent. Educate! prepares youth in Africa to learn, earn and thrive in today’s economy by: Introducing an employment-focused school subject into secondary and Delivering livelihood boot camps for out-of-school youth, with a focus on marginalized rural girls and young women. To date, more than 500,000 youth have been meaningfully impacted across Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, and Tanzania, and along the way, Educate! has become the largest youth employment and skills provider in East Africa. Educate! is a team of over 300 largely African staff and 300 volunteer youth mentors. We prioritize building an engaging, fulfilling and growth oriented work environment. 50% of our top 30 leaders have been with us for over 5 years, 10+ alumni have started their own organizations, and 6 current or former team members were Acumen Fund East Africa fellows. Tanzania scales to over 1,000 schools across Cohort 2, the Program Coordinator is the operational engine of the hub program team. The role exists to take ownership of the coordination, events, data, and administrative workload that would otherwise sit with the Hub Program Manager — freeing the PM to focus on managing and developing the Program Officer team and on program strategic planning. The Program Coordinator is a hands-on coordinator and organizer, not a people manager. Program Officers report directly to the Hub Program Manager; the PC works alongside POs as a peer-level support function, ensuring that trainings, events, stakeholder engagements, data flows, and financial processes run smoothly, on time, and to standard. Where the Hub PM operates at the level of strategy, team performance, and stakeholder relationships, the PC operates at the level of execution: calendars, logistics, reports, documentation, and follow-through. This role is well-suited to highly organized candidates with strong program delivery experience who excel at coordination, data, and operational detail. What You’ll Do🌟 Program Events & Training Coordination The PC is the hub's lead coordinator for all program events, owning logistics end-to-end. Plan and coordinate all logistics for Student Leadership Program (SLP) sessions across the hub: venues, scheduling, materials, participant communication, and government stakeholder invitations — ensuring no scheduling conflicts across districts. Coordinate District Teacher Training (DTT) logistics: preparation, venues, materials, facilitator readiness ch…
