The site is the Home of the Brand Motts that has been delighting our consumers for more than 140 yrs. We produce a wide variety of products with diverse packaging capabilities going from Apple sauce, to juices and concentrates . Alongside production, the site includes a raw apple operation that is key for the success of the site. This facility is a Unionized location. We are adding to our facility and have lots opportunity to grow and learn our industry! **Production Technician III - Williamson, NY** The Production Technician is responsible for the complete operation and changeover of assigned machines within PhD and all other associated work. This includes safely maintaining, repairing, replacing and assisting in modifying all processing, packaging, and facility equipment in accordance with on-line quality and Best Practice procedures. **Shift / Schedule:** This is a union facility so flexibility to work any day or any night shift pattern is required. Production Technicians work on a 2-2-3 rotation from 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am. **Position Responsibilities** 1. Operate machine in accordance with on-line quality and Best Practice procedures 2. Handle empty cases 3. Perform Best Practice quality checks 4. Watch for defective materials 5. Clean and sanitize equipment and facility 6. Perform preventative maintenance 7. Complete mechanical repairs 8. Assist mechanics during repairs 9. Perform quality inspections and associated paperwork 10. Make data driven process adjustments 11. Troubleshoot potential problems 12. Train other operators 13. Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures 14.
