## Overview ## Description | **PRODUCTION TEAM MEMBER (2^ND^ Shift)** | | --- | **SCHEDULE:** **** Monday – Friday / 1:30pm - 10:00pm **PAY RATE:** $18.25 **Production Team Member Duties and Responsibilities:** · Packing and unpacking products · Loading and unloading cylinders for the HPP machine · Stacking and building pallets · Labeling and code dating product · Sanitation duties as assigned · Work on an assembly line · Follow health, safety, and cleanliness standards · Excellent attendance and punctuality for an hourly role · Handle any minor tasks related to the duties of the position **Production Team Member Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:** · High School Diploma/GED preferred. · Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. · Ability to work effectively with others and as part of a team. · Ability to communicate effectively in English. · Ability to balance productivity, quality, and safety. **Production Team Member Physical Demands and Working Conditions:** · This is largely a static role with standing, however, the ability to perform repetitive bending and standing up is also required. This would require the ability to lift 10-35 lbs. repetitively and up to 45 lbs. occasionally. · This role operates in a wet and cold/refrigerated environment **(between 38 & -20 degrees Fahrenheit)** located within a manufacturing, warehousing, and production-type facility. Must be able to withstand cold temperatures for duration of shift. · Universal Pure facilities may process, pack, and/or store products containing allergenic food ingredients as referenced by FDA, team members who may come in direct contact must be able to work with these ingredients. *"We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. The offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of this test.* ## Requirements **Qualifications:** - High school diploma/GED - Refrigeration, warehouse, production or manufacturing experience - MHE/Forklift experience - Ability to perform basic mental math - Ability to communicate in English (Speak, read, and write) - Ability to balance productivity, quality, and safety - Ability to work in fast-paced environment - Ability to effectively work with others and as part of a team - Ability to work in a cold/wet environment - Ability to lift 10-35 lbs repetitively and up to 45 lbs occasionally - Ability to push/pull up to 250 lbs on rollers occasionally - Ability to stand for 10-12 hour shifts. **** **** **Working Conditions** - **T**his role operates in a cold/wet refrigerated environment (around 34 degrees F) located within a manufacturing, warehousing, and production type facility.
