Production Mechanic II (Second Shift)

Almac Group is currently seeking a 2nd shift Production Mechanic 2 for our Audubon, PA location. The Production Mechanic 2 position is responsible for performing all functions as designated for the production mechanic 1 role as well as supporting production operations for the setup and operating of primary and secondary production equipment, performing preventative maintenance, pulling and verification of equipment reports. The employee will be required to perform assigned functions within primary packaging rooms (exposed product), and secondary packaging rooms (no exposed product) when required. **2:30pm-10:40pm M-F** **Responsibilities include but are not limited to:** - Perform equipment setup (including tooling installation) roll changes, clear jams, equipment challenges and teardowns. Pull and verify equipment reports. - Perform equipment preventative maintenance in line with designated job cards. - Operation of primary and secondary production equipment in accordance with SOPs when required. - Perform cleaning of product contact parts per defined cleaning procedures. **Qualifications:** Required Experience Education: - High School Diploma or equivalent Required Work Experience: - 2 to 3 year's experience as production mechanic, operator or set-up person in a manufacturing company - At least 1 year performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed. - Internal promotion to Level 2 is based on annual assessment & Senior manager approval: - Three consecutive years annual assessment rating of at least FME - Two consecutive years annual assessment rating of FME or EE o 1st year annual assessment must be based on a minimum of 9 months in the position Preferred Education: - Technical or Trade School Degree - Mechanical/Electrical degree or training • Technical or Trade School Degree Preferred Experience: - Pharmaceutical packaging or similar GMP experience.
