Production Line Operator

***RTD Beverages, located in Covington, LA, is a water bottling manufacturing facility that produces evamor water.*** The Line Operator is responsible for safely operating production equipment within the manufacturing facility and ensuring that quality products are produced timely and efficiently. **Schedule:** Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-5:30pm **Responsibilities:** - Operate production equipment efficiently according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), and food/employee safety requirements and guidelines to meet daily labor and waste goals as planned and driven by management - Utilize Digital Production System (Redzone) to track downtime, perform quality compliance documents and communicate with support functions - Complete change overs for their assigned equipment and/or production line - Learn and maintain customer standards for product specifications and acceptable quality - Read and follow instructions regarding daily expectations, requirements, or specifications - Accurately completes all quality, traceability, and production paperwork - Report any product deficiencies, food, or safety concerns to supervisor - Perform minor equipment adjustments to ensure equipment is operating optimally - Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and assists others with product change overs - Follow all safety procedures and actively participate in safety training and safety system ownership initiatives - Maintain safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and person; reports any injury, accident, or unsafe condition to supervisor immediately - Support and comply with GMP’s; understand and follow emergency action plan - Support food safety, quality, and legality - Ensure the operation is providing food-safe, quality products which meet or exceed all product specifications and regulatory requirements - Other duties as assigned - High school diploma or GED - 2+ years of machine operating/production experience preferred - Technical skills include the ability to start and stop equipment, complete a changeover, and operate one piece of equipment - Interpersonal skills include good verbal and written communication, good time management skills and the ability to follow rules and directions - Leadership skills include a positive attitude, being a team player and self-leadership We offer a comprehensive and thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports the well-being, financial security, and work-life balance of our employees. - 10 Paid Company Holidays - Generous Paid Vacation & Sick Time - Comprehensive, Affordable Medical, Dental & Vision Coverage for you and your family - Health Savings Account (HSA) with company contributions - Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) & Dependent Care FSA (DCFSA) - 401(k) Retirement Plan with company match and discretionary profit sharing - Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and financial wellness resources - Company‑Paid Disability - Company‑Paid Life Insurance equal to 3× annual compensation - And more benefits designed to support your health, wealth, and well‑being Together, these benefits reflect our commitment to caring for our employees both inside and outside the workplace. *RTD Beverages, LLC is an equal opportunity employer, Minorities/Females/Disability/Protected Veteran/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity.*
