Production Line Leader

## Overview Provide leadership and direction for a team of workers on an assembly line. Our wealth of expertise in both foam and fiber manufacturing technology enables us to provide innovative solutions for both consumer and industrial products. ## Description - Leads team of workers in a cell, machine, or area to ensure the team meets or exceeds all standards related to safety, quality checks, productivity, 5s, and maintenance systems. - Responsible for carrying out schedule set forth by Managers and Supervisors - Passes along key direction and feedback from Supervisors and Managers. - Is fully trained in all jobs in the cell and can train other individuals to the requisite standards. - Quickly escalates issues to Supervisors or Managers if production is interrupted. Actively participates in Tier 1 meetings, raising issues that the team is experiencing. - Inspires team to deliver on results. - Is a driver of improvement for the front line, works with team to find 1% improvement. - Maintains exceptional attendance and punctuality. - Available to arrive before other team members to set up for the day. - Willing to work overtime when required on most occasions. ## Requirements - 2+ years manufacturing experience. - Prior Supervisor or leadership experience preferred. - Strong communication skills and attention to detail. - Ability to learn new processes quickly. - Ability to think on feet, and adapt, as production needs change daily. - Competitive spirit, desire for excellence and improvement. - Physically able to stand/walk for long periods of time. - Able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly during a shift. - Basic mathematics and reading skills. - English fluency: Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, but not required. **Education Required:** **** · High School diploma or equivalent
