The Food Production Line Associate position is responsible for carrying out various tasks on the food production line to ensure the efficient and safe production of high-quality food products. Your role includes operating machinery, performing assembly tasks, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to food safety standards. **Schedule:** - Monday through Friday. Starting at 5:30 am: Overtime & Saturdays as needed **Duties and Responsibilities:** Some of your duties may include: - Demonstrate a high attention to detail. - Operate and monitor food production machinery and equipment, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to safety protocols. - Assemble food products or ingredients according to recipes and production guidelines. This includes portioning, mixing, and packaging. - Inspect food products for quality, including size, appearance, and consistency. Report any defects or issues to the supervisor immediately. - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area and equipment. - Handle raw materials and finished products with care, including loading and unloading ingredients and packaging materials. - Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of food products. - Work effectively with team members to meet production goals and assist colleagues as needed. **You’ll need to be able to:** - Ability to stand/walk for extended periods as well as climb stairs and ladders. - Lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks. - Work in an environment that consists of wet and moist floors which may include metal and/or plastic grating surfaces. Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hairnets, gloves, ear plugs and safety glasses will be provided and must be worn as required. - Willingness and ability to work with products that may contain gluten, cheese, pine nuts and other food allergens. **Requirements:** - Must be 18 years or older. - High school diploma or equivalent preferred. - Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is a plus but not required. On-the-job training will be provided. - Must be available to work 5 to 6-day work weeks and must be able to work extended hours as needed. - Successfully complete drug screening, physical and background check requirements.
