For more information, visit us at [**http://cornerstonebuildingbrands.com**](https://nam11.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Furl.uk.m.mimecastprotect.com%2Fs%2F5UadCoYP9H2912xuVi3TpeFXo%3Fdomain%3Dcornerstonebuildingbrands.com%2F&data=05%7C02%7CRosario.RudaBart%40cielotalent.com%7C36055b5417fb4ad90ebc08de999e6992%7C323f7593ae224bc78318fac0fdaa533b%7C0%7C0%7C639117102832114484%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=yC4H2LaC7htzVouI2rceai6punZrtft5m2ybWjEksRw%3D&reserved=0). ## Job Description **JOB DETAILS** **Base pay rate is $17.50 per hour** **Schedule Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM,** *hours may vary depending on operations* **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** - Understands and follows safety rules and precautions in a manufacturing environment. - Assist CPU customers - Takes loading photos - Uploads loading photos - Scans loading documentation - Assist with location job order on the production floor - Employs a range of crating and packaging resources, including metal bands and protective coverings, to ensure parts are securely fastened and safeguarded during transport. - Proficient in operating forklifts and other lifting equipment. - Responsible for each lift, deciding when to check actual vs maximum allowable trailer load. - Assists with inventory counts as required - Maintains practices for continuous improvement within the work area. - Utilize scanning equipment - Inspect work visually for defects according to Quality Systems - Provide cost-saving suggestions and ideas to improve productivity and eliminate waste - Willing/able to work overtime - Ability read, write, and follow posted schedules - May be assigned other projects or tasks by the team leader. ## Qualifications - High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) - A minimum of one year of related work experience in manufacturing or comparable work environment - Good Communication Skills - Basic Computer Skills - Forklift experience a plus / Must be trainable on forklift - Crane experience a plus / Must be trainable on crane - Flexible with working overtime and weekends when needed - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist - Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment - Some knowledge of a manufacturing environment. ## Additional Information Site Address: 14031 W. Hardy Rd., Houston, TX 77060 This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
