Product Testing Technician (Engineering)

As a Product Testing Technician, you will be a part of completing industry-leading research in our testing facility. You will conduct and document various hands-on laboratory tests, including tensile, environmental, and vibration testing. You’ll utilize your problem-solving skills to identify issues and ensure our products meet quality and performance standards. You will also work closely with engineers and have support and guidance from senior technicians. **Duties & Responsibilities:** - Conduct mechanical, electrical, fiber optic, environmental and vibration testing according to PLP ISO procedures. - Maintain neat and detailed logs of testing data. - Assist with demonstrations for visitors. - Assemble product samples for Sales, Marketing and International Departments. - Perform test gauge calibration. - Do minor machining, such as drilling and cutting of material. - Perform required preventative maintenance and minor repairs on test equipment.
