Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company. Preferred qualifications: MBA or Master's degree in a management, technical or engineering field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience driving complex strategic and operational initiatives across various functional domains and geographies. Experience in using metrics and analytics to business problems and generate actionable insights. Ability to deliver effective presentations and build partnerships with executive leaders and their teams across Google. Ability to structure analysis and drive/execute data modeling and reporting initiatives. Excellent strategic thinking, problem solving, analysis, and written/verbal communication skills, with effective business acumen and attention to detail. About the job Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google’s functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines. Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. We help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users, and then get those products into their hands. You will specifically work with the external facing AI and Computing Infrastructure (ACI) Cloud business which is the largest and fastest growing business, and the internal facing CoreML and Technical Infrastructure (TI) businesses. In this role, you will work closely with the product management, engineering, and other cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, GTM, Finance, Corporate Development, Supply Chain, etc.) to develop business-level and product strategies (e.g., multi-year business plan, specific product strategies, new product business cases, and Go-to-Market strategy), drive strategic projects (e.g., buy/build/partner models, business cases), incubate new initiatives, provide analytics support (e.g., define key business metrics, perform in-depth analysis or market analysis to answer important questions on product trends/business performance), and facilitate running the business (e.g., orchestrate business reviews).
