Warehouse Management System (WMS) – Product Manager Warehouse Management System (WMS) is one of Anchanto’s core products and plays a critical role in enabling efficient, scalable, and accurate warehouse operations for customers across industries and geographies. As warehousing operations become more complex, customers increasingly expect WMS platforms to go beyond core receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and dispatch capabilities. They now require deeper orchestration and interoperability with adjacent systems such as TMS, Labour Management, Robotics and AMR, Yard and Dock Management, WES, and WCS. To support this evolution, Anchanto needs a WMS Product Manager who can define and drive the WMS product roadmap in line with business strategy, operational realities, and market demand. This role is essential to ensure our WMS remains operationally strong, technically scalable, and capable of supporting modern warehouse execution requirements, including automation, labor productivity, dock movement control, equipment orchestration, and end-to-end warehouse visibility. Key Responsibilities Strategy Define the product roadmap for Anchanto’s WMS based on org and product strategy and vision. Identify capability gaps and prioritize features based on customer needs, business priorities, and operational pain points. Balance short-term delivery needs with long-term product scalability and configurability. Support roadmap decisions across warehouse execution areas such as receiving, putaway, replenishment, inventory control, picking, packing, dispatch, returns, and value-added services. Evaluate opportunities for ecosystem integrations and operational enhancements that strengthen the WMS value proposition. Execution Write detailed PRDs, user stories, workflows, use cases, edge cases, and acceptance criteria for WMS capabilities. Define functional and non-functional requirements for features including performance, scale, usability, security, auditability, and configurability. Review requirements and outputs from team members to ensure completeness and implementation readiness. Work closely with Engineering and QA through design, development, testing, rollout, and release stabilization. Review API-related requirements and define business expectations for validations, status handling, event flows, exceptions, retry behaviour, and data mapping where relevant. Track dependencies, risks, and trade-offs to ensure smooth execution and delivery discipline. Review team work outputs and ensure consistency, completeness, and clarity in requirements. Allocate work effectively across roadmap, BAU, issue resolution, and strategic initiatives. Build ownership, accountability, and strong execution discipline within the team. Drive NFRs and integration compliance related activities. Measurement & Success Metrics Define and monitor key success metrics for WMS capabilities such as throughput, inventory accuracy, picking efficiency, packing productivity, SLA adherence, user adoption, and issue trends. Track release outcomes, defect leakage, support escalations, and customer feedback. Use product and operational insights to identify improvement opportunities and guide prioritization. Ensure roadmap outcomes create measurable value for customers and internal teams. Use data and operational insights to identify gaps, prioritise fixes, and improve product performance. Stakeholder Collaboration Align senior leadership, engineering, operations, implementation, support, and commercial teams on roadmap priorities and delivery plans. Work with customers and partners to understand integration requirements, pain points, and business processes. Manage senior stakeholder communication with clarity, structure, and confidence. Drive decision-making across competing priorities, dependencies, and delivery trade-offs.
