WHO WE ARE: Zinnia is the leading technology platform for accelerating life and annuities growth. With innovative enterprise solutions and data insights, Zinnia simplifies the experience of buying, selling, and administering insurance products. All of which enables more people to protect their financial futures. Our success is driven by a commitment to three core values: be bold, team up, deliver value – and that we do. Zinnia has over $180 billion in assets under administration, serves 100+ carrier clients, 2500 distributors and partners, and over 2 million policyholders. WHO YOU ARE: We are hiring a Product Manager to drive delivery on compliance operations and regulatory intelligence platforms serving life insurance and annuity carriers. The platform covers sanctions and watchlist screening, AML program workflows, payment fraud detection, compliance case management, and the underlying data infrastructure that ties these domains together. This is hands-on product work in a regulated environment. You will translate regulatory requirements into technical designs, write requirements that engineers can build and auditors can read back, and coordinate across compliance, legal, operations, and engineering stakeholders in the US and India. The work is consequential; the platform you help build is used to make and evidence compliance decisions that affect real policyholders and real carrier clients. You will be expected to challenge weak designs, ask hard questions about audit defensibility, and hold a high bar for what "done" actually means in a regulated context. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Own end-to-end product delivery for compliance workflow features, from discovery through production release and post-launch monitoring Translate regulatory and operational requirements into system designs, OFAC/sanctions screening, AML program workflows, fraud detection and reporting, compliance case management, and evidence retention Write detailed product requirements: problem statement, acceptance criteria, assumptions, risks, dependencies, and definition of ready and done; stories must be sized for single-sprint delivery Partners with compliance and legal stakeholders to clarify regulatory intent before work enters the sprint, do not let ambiguous requirements become engineering decisions Manage integrations with third-party screening and risk intelligence vendors, including onboarding, configuration, and ongoing operational health Drive data model and data quality requirements: traceability, timeliness, authoritative source rules, retention controls, and reconciliation between source systems Define compliance workflows that are preventative where possible, the goal is to stop a bad outcome before it happens, not detect it afterward Support a multi-client operating model, the platform serves multiple carrier clients with different configurations, service levels, and delegation models; requirements must account for this Collaborate with engineering teams in Pune to maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog and a predictable delivery cadence WHAT YOU’LL NEED: 6+ years of Product Management or Business Systems experience, with at least 2 years in a regulated financial services or insurance environment Direct exposure to compliance operations, sanctions screening, AML/BSA programs, fraud monitoring, or comparable regulatory workflows Strong requirements craft - you write stories an engineer can build, a QA engineer can test, and a compliance reviewer can use as evidence Ability to read a regulatory requirement and reason about what a system needs to do to satisfy it, not just what the UI should look like Comfortable working across US and India time zones with distributed teams; structured async communication is the default here, not the fallback Experience with data-intensive platforms: source system integrations, data quality gaps, reconciliation controls, and traceability requirements Familiarity with Agile delivery and Jira-based backlog management Prefe…
