## Location: New York,New York,United States **POSITION SUMMARY** The Product Development Coordinator plays a critical role of support to Design, Sales, Operations, Licensing, Production and other Vida departments through project organization, calendar management, sample tracking, and cross-functional collaboration. This individual ensures clear and seamless communication between internal teams and external partners while maintaining organization across product development operations. **Compensation**: $65-70k **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** ***Sample Management*** - Track and manage all incoming and outgoing product samples and packages - Maintain and organize the Product Development (PD) product closet, ensuring all samples are properly stocked, cataloged, and accessible - Oversee sample requests and distribution for cross-functional teams, including Licensing, Operations, Marketing, Sales, and other departments as needed - Track return of Customer Style-out Salesman Samples - Tracking and Maintaining Logs for FIT/CONFIRMATION/APPROVAL/PROTO samples ***Product Development Duties*** - Prepare specs (set up files and data entry) to support Design team - BSN image upload (image for UPC label) - Maintain office and digital organization (mini-walls, detail walls etc.) for easy communication with internal/external partners - Prepare materials/swatches for development; liaison with Licensor, internal/external product development partners - Shipments-FIT APPROVALS/DEVELOPMENT PKGS packages (swatches, originals, proto corrections etc.), Product Confirmation samples, TOPS (ensuring correct procedures for each customer is followed) - Maintain Commercialization Packages as needed - (Last data, Insole and Pattern information) - Market and Trend Research as needed - Assist with Product Confirmation process (pull existing samples/swatches for comparison) - Support product development workflows by ensuring timely communication and follow-through on key initiatives ***Calendar and Meeting Management*** - Schedule and coordinate internal meetings as well as meetings with external partners/vendors - Prepare for weekly technical fitting sessions; Compile meeting notes/comments with clear photographs - Record/Track Product Confirmation dates to track progress of development process to ensure timely approvals and avoid delivery delays - Manage agendas and recaps of all meetings ***Cross-Functional Communication*** - Review sales sample images; Track Receipt and ensure they are in proper format – follow up with internal/external partners to resolve issues - Maintain Shared High Resolution Image Folder for vendor partners - Create and update line sheet information; maintain throughout the development process until samples are received - Serve as a key point of coordination between Design and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment on sample needs, timelines, and project milestones ***Executive & Vendor Partnership Support*** - Attend Product Development meetings and provide meeting support as needed - Participate in meetings with outside vendors to support communication, project tracking, and follow-up actions **QUALIFICATIONS** - Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite a plus, AI proficiency a plus - Ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships across departments and external partners - 1 - 2 years prior experience in footwear, product development, merchandising, or a related field preferred **KEY COMPETENCIES** - Organization and prioritization - Attention to detail - Communication and collaboration - Problem-solving and decision-making - Time management - Adaptability in a fast-paced environment ***Actual salary will be determined based off candidate’s skill sets, years of experience, and other job-related…
