Build, rotate and maintain product displays, maintain department schematics, clean and sanitize work area, and monitor temperatures in coolers and cases. Product knowledge, unload trucks and organize inventory. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**: The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: - Ensure freshness and quality through rotation of product - Inventory merchandise on hand - Set-up and maintain all displays - Assist manager in maintaining pricing and signage - Maintain neat and orderly coolers - Use and maintenance of sprinkler wet on produce - Cut fruits and vegetables to be sold in packages - Maintain cleanliness of scales - All other duties assigned within the department - Work cross functionally with other departments **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:** - High School Diploma, GED equivalent required - Previous experience in produce departments/supermarkets, a plus - Bilingual in English and Spanish **** **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:** - Detail oriented - Collaboration skills - Organizational skills - Follow instructions - Ability to multi-task - Customer service oriented **PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK CONDITIONS:** The physical demands and work conditions below represent those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
