Process Technician (SMT)

We are currently recruiting highly qualified candidates, whose background and career goals meet our needs, for the following position in our Huntsville, AL facility. Please note that due to our Department of Defense contract requirements, U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED. **Job Purpose:** To provide technical support regarding process control, troubleshooting, process improvements, training and documentation. The process technician must become proficient in programming the equipment utilized in the processes to which he/she is assigned. It is the process technicians responsibility to understand, be able to troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs to the machines utilized in the processes to which he/she is assigned. **Nature of Job Duties:** Perform technical tests and experiments for process engineering within R&D. Performs set up of processing equipment. Monitor, audit, and provide guidance to line operators. Process test runs and prepare records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products. Provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel. **Requirements:** - 4-6 years related electronics manufacturing experience. - Associates Degree is required - Candidate must be self-motivated - Candidate must be willing to take ownership of their processes while maintaining the willingness for continued education in those processes and equipment utilized.
