Process Technician 1

## **The group you’ll be a part of** ## **The impact you’ll make** As a Process Technician at Lam, are a vital part of the team in actively supporting process development, product development, and research and development (R&D). You’ll set up processing equipment, conduct technical tests and experiments, process test runs, and present findings to optimize yield. Your technical expertise supports process development, contributing to Lam’s commitment to innovation. ## **What you’ll do** - Supports Process Engineers in preparation for wafer fabrication equipment (WFE) tests, equipment setup, experiments, data collection, and sample submissions. - Operates processing equipment and advanced tools with recipes defined by engineering teams to collect experiment results, capture measurements (e.g. thin film, CD, wafter disposition performance) and chemistry properties analysis. - Processes test runs and prepares records, charts, and schematics of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield optimization areas. - Provides technical assistance to process development teams and process engineers. - Assist in technical troubleshooting and improvement opportunities of the application lab tools and experiment setups. ## **Who we’re looking for** - Less than 1 year of related experience. - Associates degree in technical field, Technical Certificate, Diploma or higher in semiconductors, electronics, chemistry, mechanical, or related field. - Ability to work in a clean room environment, wearing personal protective safety equipment (PPE), cleanroom suit, or smock. - Foundational communication skills, reading and writing, in English. - Ability to work a shift schedule. ## **Our commitment** We believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
