Associate, Operations - Private Wealth

Position Overview StepStone is looking for a customer-centric, detail-oriented individual who will work with a team that manages fund operations and client relations for the StepStone Australia Funds. The person should have a solid understanding of investment operations and strong communication skills. Essential Job Functions: • Manage communication with the fund’s Australia transfer agent and administrator to ensure a seamless client experience. • Coordinate with the fund’s Responsible Entity (RE) to resolve operational matters efficiently • Assist clients with onboarding and any operations-related queries • Build and maintain a strong working relationship with the EMEA Operations team to ensure accurate trade processing. • Collaborate with the legal team to update documentation and ensure timely approval and implementation. • Assist due diligence team to complete information requests promptly and accurately. • Monitor quarterly KPIs for both external service providers and internal performance metrics. • Maintain a project tracker for open items and ensure timely updates across teams. • Ensure all data providers, platforms and pricing sources receive accurate and up to date information. • Assist and contribute to projects and analyses for the private wealth and business development teams. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Team player with a strong work ethic and an interest in private markets and/or private wealth. • Strong project management skills. • Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player. • Highly organized and self-directed individual who pays close attention to detail and can multi-task among various projects. • Committed to meeting deadlines and progressing workstreams across multiple teams with limited supervision. • Effective and clear communication skills, both verbally and written, with all levels of personnel, both internal and external. • Strong problem-solving capabilities with proven track record of leading projects and initiatives from beginning to end. • Highly motivated, ambitious individual with a growth mindset that flourishes in a challenging, fast-paced, and professional environment with frequent shifts of priorities as business needs dictate. • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, management or business preferred • One+ year of related financial services experience required • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Highly motivated individual with demonstrated initiative, independence and adaptability • Proven customer service skills Other Attributes: • Team oriented yet self-driven • Interest in global financial markets and/or international business experience • Strong work ethic • Flexible work schedule #LI-Hybrid At StepStone, we believe that our people are our most important asset and crucial to our success.
