Principal Electrical Designer

Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions. **Purpose** You will demonstrate a strong understanding and practical application of electrical technical principles, theories, and concepts for onshore industrial facilities. **Responsibilities** - Develop designs for lighting, power distribution, cable tray, grounding systems, and electrical building arrangements. - Apply applicable electrical codes, industry standards, and client specifications to onshore facility design. - Maintain general knowledge of related engineering disciplines and coordinate effectively across discipline interfaces. - Design and modify facility components, electrical rooms, buildings, equipment layouts, and associated electrical systems to develop new designs or improve existing designs. - Provide solutions to a wide range of complex technical problems under general direction while proactively taking ownership of assigned work and outcomes. - Identify required deliverables and support planning, scheduling, and status reporting for those deliverables. - Communicate effectively with all levels of internal management and work professionally with client representatives. **What you will bring** **Technical and Industry Experience:** - Minimum of 8 years of electrical design experience. - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. - Proficient with electronic PDF markup tools, such as Bluebeam and/or PDF-XChange Pro. **Required:** - Technical Diploma required. **Preferred:** - Proficient with AutoCAD and MicroStation. **Moving forward together** We want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
