Principal Architect

We [partner with Anthropic](https://www.owt.swiss/en/news/owt-and-anthropic-form-collaboration/) behind Alpha Factory, Switzerland's first centre of excellence for human-centered AI adoption. We are strengthening our team of experts and looking for a passionate Principal Architect to drive transformation across leading Swiss organizations, based in our Zurich office. ### **Your mission** - **Architect and deliver** scalable, secure, and business-aligned cloud-native solutions, including containerized architectures and CI/CD pipelines, with integrated AI capabilities - Lead **end-to-end** architecture on complex projects, from pre-sales to production deployment, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction - Define strategic **architectural decisions** and act as the technical interface between teams and stakeholders, translating business needs into pragmatic solutions and producing associated documentation (ADRs, guidelines) - Actively participate in **development** (code reviews, POCs, AI pipeline design, critical components) while ensuring overall technical consistency - Contribute to internal capability building through **mentoring**, AI technology **monitoring**, and best practice improvements - 10+ years in software architecture across large-scale projects, with solid expertise in modern patterns (**microservices, event-driven, hexagonal, clean architecture**) and design principles (**SOLID, DDD**) - A genuine passion for AI and hands-on experience designing or integrating LLM APIs, RAG pipelines, and agentic systems - Excellent background in either **Java Spring Boot or .NET** stacks - Experience building scalable and resilient systems using cloud and container technologies (**Docker**, Kubernetes, Azure, AWS) - Demonstrated technical leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills across business and IT teams - Hands-on experience with **DevSecOps**, **CI/CD**, **observability**, and application **security** (OWASP, authentication/authorization, encryption) - Fluency in German and English (minimum C1 level); French is a plus - A dynamic, collaborative culture with a strong client focus, working with prestigious Swiss organizations on diverse and cutting-edge technology projects - A growth-oriented environment with a clear career path and fast progression opportunities - A modern work model combining office presence, home office, and client-site collaboration - A competitive salary and a healthy work-life balance - A team of experts always ready to share knowledge, backed by a proven mentoring model to support your personal and professional development. ***Ready to make a real impact on how Switzerland adopts AI?*** Join our team of experts in a company where technology, innovation, and collaboration drive everything we do.
