# Precision Deburr Technician **Department:** Deburr **Location:** Phoenix, AZ **Pay:** $20.00-$28.00 per hour (DOE) **Schedule:** Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM * * * ## Position Overview Axian Technology is seeking a detail-oriented **Precision Deburr Technician** to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform precision hand finishing on machined aerospace components, ensuring every part meets exact customer specifications and Axian's high standards for quality. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in craftsmanship, and understands that even the smallest detail can make a significant difference. Your work will directly impact the quality, performance, and reliability of the products we deliver to our customers. * * * ## Key Responsibilities - Perform precision deburring and hand finishing of machined components using hand tools, pneumatic tools, abrasives, and other finishing equipment. - Remove burrs, sharp edges, machining marks, and surface imperfections while maintaining required dimensions and surface finishes. - Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and customer specifications. - Inspect parts throughout the finishing process to ensure compliance with quality requirements. - Use precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, scales, and gauges, as required. - Identify and report quality concerns or nonconforming parts to the appropriate supervisor. - Handle parts carefully to prevent damage during processing. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. - Follow all company safety policies and quality procedures. - Work closely with Production and Quality teams to support on-time delivery. * * * ## Required Qualifications - Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. - Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. - Ability to use small hand tools and precision finishing equipment. - Ability to read and follow written work instructions. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. - Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. * * * ## Preferred Qualifications - Previous deburring, hand finishing, polishing, or precision assembly experience. - Experience working in a precision manufacturing or aerospace environment. - Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints. - Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers. - Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards is a plus. * * * ## What We Offer - Health insurance - Dental insurance - Vision insurance - 401(k) with company match - Paid Time Off (PTO) - Paid holidays - Paid sick time - Stable, full-time employment - Opportunities for training, skill development, and career advancement * * * ## The Kind of People Who Thrive at Axian At Axian Technology, we believe great companies are built by people who care about the quality of their work and the success of their team.
