Job Title: Locum Psychologist – Learning Disabilities & Complex Needs Location: Cheshire Working Hours: 2 days per week (Monday–Friday, daytime hours) Salary: Attractive rates (PAYE or approved umbrella only) Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Are you a qualified Psychologist with experience in mental health and learning disabilities? Pulse is recruiting for a Locum Psychologist to work across three specialist residential services supporting adults with learning disabilities, behaviours that challenge, and associated complex needs. This is a part-time opportunity (2 days per week) to join a well-established multi-disciplinary team (MDT) and contribute to person-centred care in a social care setting. Responsibilities As a Locum Psychologist, you will : Provide psychological input across three (local) residential services Deliver specialist psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions. Work collaboratively with the MDT to support care planning and risk management. Contribute to service users’ wellbeing through evidence-based approaches. Support staff teams with psychologically informed strategies and consultation. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service development.
