Powder Coater (Sprayer)

## Description Description · Starting pay is $18-$21/hour, depending on experience + PAY INCREASE after 90 days! Paid Weekly. · Direct Hire | FIRST SHIFT - Hours are typically 5 AM-2:30/3:30 PM and will vary each week. Must be willing to work overtime on Saturdays as needed. · 2 weeks of paid time off + 10 paid holidays + 1 week of paid sick leave · Able to listen to your own music while at work! Under direct supervision, this position performs any of a variety of functions involved with the finishing of metal products, including powder coat and paint finishes, with the goal of manufacturing a quality part according to Work Order specifications while meeting quality and production standards. Specific duties may vary depending on the assigned department. This position flexes in relation to the production demand. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. · Powder coats or paints chairs according to work order specifications. · Inspects chairs for flaws, levels the chair, and prepares for paint or powder coat. · Hangs chairs, parts, and table bases on the line. · Monitors the water and chemical levels in the washer and ovens at least 4 times a day. · Assists with the inventory of powder and stock powder as it arrives. · Maintains basic preventive maintenance on spray booths and equipment. · Performs basic functions on the ERP computer system (clocking in and out, work order maintenance) · Keeps work area neat and clean according to company standards. · Works safely and follows all company rules and procedures. Requirements · High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. · Minimum 6 months of experience working in a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. · Functional working knowledge of general hand tools and paint sprayers. · Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
