Pool Valet Specialist

## Overview **Pool Valet Specialists are responsible for ensuring residential and commercial pools are clean, safe, and properly balanced. Your daily tasks will include cleaning pools, testing and adjusting water chemistry, inspecting equipment, and providing excellent client service. This role requires someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently outdoors. You'll play a key role in maintaining the high-quality standards our clients expect. A Pool Valet Specialist will perform and ensure all team members are executing all job responsibilities in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.** ## Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and competency satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to perform this job. - Perform routine pool cleaning and maintenance, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and emptying baskets. - Test water quality and accurately adjust chemical levels to maintain safe and healthy water conditions. - Inspect pool equipment (pumps, filters, heaters, etc.) and report any issues or malfunctions. - Maintain service records for each visit, including chemical readings and treatments. - Communicate professionally with clients and provide basic education or updates about their pool’s condition. - Ensure proper storage, handling, and transport of pool chemicals and tools. - Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle and inventory of supplies. - Commit the hours necessary to make sure the job is done to satisfaction. - Maintain a clean appearance and conform to the Parklane Pool Company dress code. - Make decisions that are in the best interest of the company. - Assist in maintaining all Parklane Pool Company equipment. - Other duties are needed to help drive and fulfill the Parklane Pool Company's Mission, including referring new team members for employment. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE - Minimum one year of experience in industry or related field. - Previous pool service or maintenance experience preferred, but not required—training provided! - Basic understanding of pool chemistry or willingness to learn - Must be 18 years or older - High school diploma/GED - A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by a team member to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
