Job Title: Pool Monitor (Seasonal) Pay: $20�$22 per hour Schedule: Sunday�Thursday: 12:00 PM � 10:00 PM (pool closes at 9:00 PM, cleanup from 9:00�10:00 PM) Friday�Saturday: 12:00 PM � 11:00 PM (pool closes at 10:00 PM, cleanup from 10:00�11:00 PM) Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays Season Dates: Memorial Day through approximately 1�2 weeks after Labor Day Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and professional Pool Monitor to oversee daily operations at a residential pool facility. This is a monitoring and security-focused role, not a lifeguard position. The Pool Monitor will be responsible for enforcing community rules, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring the facility is properly opened and secured each day. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Monitor pool area to ensure compliance with all community rules and regulations Provide a professional and friendly presence for residents and guests Observe for safety concerns, hazards, or inappropriate behavior and respond appropriately Open and close the pool facility each day, including securing gates and equipment Perform light cleaning duties, including removing trash and tidying the pool area Complete end-of-day cleanup and ensure the facility is left in good condition Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management Follow established procedures in the event of an emergency and complete required documentation Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age Reliable and punctual with the ability to work assigned schedule Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to make sound decisions and enforce rules in a professional manner Previous experience in customer service, security, or a similar role is a plus Additional Information This is not a lifeguard position and no lifeguard certification is required Candidates should be comfortable working independently and outdoors for extended periods
