Plant Operator II

**Plant Operator II** Valicor Environmental Services is looking for a **Plant Operator II** to work in our Adamsville, AL facility**.** **Job Duties** - Load and unload trucks at the facility - Log in all weights and counts of loads - Safe chemical handling including bulk unloading and transfer of chemicals - Treatment of waste streams with the use of heated tanks and chemicals - Operate pumps, valves, PLC screens and other light industrial equipment - Operate biological WWTP including OWS, EQ, MBR, DAF, Lamella and other mechanical solids management equipment - Conduct WWTP laboratory analysis for operational performance and operational adjustments - Perform mathematical calculations for chemical dosages, RAS/WAS and loadings - Conduct benchtop stream treatability for required chemical dosages - Complete minor mechanical repairs - Operate forklifts in a safe and efficient manner - Complete daily forklift inspection - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Follow all plant safety policies and practices **Requirements** - Ability to stand/walk throughout duration of shifts - Must be able to pass all required safety/environmental courses upon hire - Ability to safely climb ladders and steps - Must be able to lift 50+ pounds - Must be willing to learn the operation and adhere to ALL safety guidelines - Must be self-motivated and posses personal accountability - Ability to use computer (data entry) - Must be willing to work 1st or 2nd shift **Benefits** - Competitive pay rates - Guaranteed 40 hours per week - Paid Holidays, Paid Time Off - Medical/Dental/Vision plans - Employee Referral Incentives - Annual bonus program - Disability & Life Insurance - Matching 401(k) ***Successful candidates must pass the Pre-Screening including a criminal background check, drug screen, and MVR check (if applicable for the position).*** **About Valicor:** Headquartered in Monroe, Ohio.
