Become a Key Player in Branson's Clean Water Mission! You will help keep our community's wastewater treatment facilities running smoothly. WORK HOURS: Shift Work; Shift May Vary to include nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary to have operations 24 hours a day/7 day a week WORK LOCATION: In and around the City of Branson, Missouri; This position requires work to be performed onsite. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND, TRAINING REQUIRED • A High School diploma or GED equivalent. • At least one (1) year of experience in the areas such as wastewater operations and maintenance, wastewater analysis, mechanical maintenance, and repair work, or closely related work. • Possession of a Missouri Class "D" Wastewater Treatment Certificate of Competency or equivalent from another state. • Additional licenses or certifications may be required for this position. MISCELLANEOUS REQUIREMENTS • Must be at least 18 years of age. • Must possess a valid driver's license and must be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position. • Must possess or obtain a Class "D" Missouri Wastewater Treatment Certification of Competency within 18 months of start date. • Must possess or obtain a valid Class B CDL with Air Brake endorsement within 12 months of hire date. • Must be willing to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary to have operations 24 hours a day/7 days a week. • Must possess no felony convictions at any time while employed by the City of Branson. • Must be able to pass background investigation, physical capability examination, and drug and alcohol screenings.
