**Summary** A Plant Coordinator for Genesis Products is responsible for developing production plans as required to achieve the sales plan, service and inventory objectives for all functional areas. The Plant Coordinator orders and maintains inventory for all the components before sending them on to production and assists in the development and monitoring of production schedules. He or She escalates issues as necessary to ensure that forecasted sales and unit production plans are properly integrated. The successful candidate will work closely with all functional areas as necessary to ensure that the production plans fulfill customer requirements. **Responsibilities (include the following: however, other duties may apply.)** - Order internal materials and schedule production as efficiently as possible - Prioritize production - Communicate each day with the Inside Sales department, Manufacturing Staff and the Shipping and Receiving department - Execute internal inventory management - Perform analysis and conflict resolution when necessary - Conduct day-to-day reporting within Microsoft Excel and MRP System **Skills Desired** - Bachelor’s Degree is preferred - Entry level to 3 years’ experience - Positive, team player attitude - PC computer skills required - Strong analytical skills - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to work within a fast-paced environment - Demonstrate composure in difficult situations - Ability to pay extreme attention to detail - Strong ability to be adaptable and flexible - Ability to work with urgency - Excellent interpersonal communication skills - Ability to work in a team environment
