Headquartered in Miami Lakes, with offices in Manhattan and Orlando, The Ward Law Group is expanding nationally, with upcoming locations in New Jersey and Texas. ## Job Description **Compensation: USD $1,000+ per month (based on experience)** **Please submit your resume in English.** **Role Overview** **This is a Virtual Assistant position as an independent contractor. Paid time off and healthcare benefits are not provided.** Full-time availability is required for a 40-hour workweek with two days off. Depending on business needs, one weekend day may be included in your schedule. **Key Responsibilities** **Preferred Qualifications:** - Answer, screen, and route incoming calls to the appropriate team member - Take and relay messages or transfer calls to voicemail when staff are unavailable - Log phone calls and upload documents into the online document management system - Provide clerical support to office staff, including faxing, copying, and file organization - Maintain regular communication with clients and respond to questions - Obtain insurance coverage information in a timely manner - Follow up on medical treatment and confirm continuity of care - Request and obtain medical records and billing statements from providers - Communicate with insurance companies regarding treatment status and update adjuster information in the system - Perform additional administrative and case-related duties as assigned **Work Environment** - Fully remote role. - High-production, metric driven recruiting environment. - Collaborative team structure supporting multiple hiring functions. ## Qualifications - Plaintiff personal injury law firms - Medical offices or healthcare scheduling - Legal intake or case support - Call centers with high-volume inbound calls - Virtual assistant roles supporting U.S. businesses - CRM or case management systems (Litify, Filevine, SmartAdvocate, Clio, etc.) - Strong written and spoken English with professional Spanish fluency ## Additional Information **Equipment Requirements:** Computer: Windows: - Windows 10, Intel i5 (8th Gen+) or 2GHz and 8 cores - 16 GB RAM - 256 GB SSD Mac: - macOS 11 (Big Sur+), Apple M1 or Intel i5 - 8 GB RAM - 256 GB SSD Equipment: - USB noise-cancelling headset - Webcam for daily meetings Internet: - Connection: Wired Ethernet preferred; 5 GHz Wi-Fi acceptable - Internet Speed: - 30 Mbps download - 15 Mbps upload - Latency (Ping): Under 100ms The Ward Law Group is not accepting unsolicited assistance from search firms for this employment opportunity.
