Backed by deep engineering expertise and large-scale manufacturing capability, Stellar Energy helps customers deploy critical infrastructure faster and with confidence. **Summary Objective** Capable of performing a variety of welding functions in all positions on structural plate and 6G pipe with SMAW, FCAW and GTAW. Willingness to cross train for multi-function structural and piping assembly processes. **Essential Functions** - Fluent in understanding job specific WPS / PQR’s and capable of setting machine up for performance in all positions to certified testing criteria. - Analyze blueprints for welding insignia and the application thereof to assemble components on piping and structural systems. - The ability to identify correctly, measure, hand dress, cut and fit prepare metal surfaces for welding process to be completed per job specific requirements. - Capable of visual observation of pre- and post-welded surfaces; and the interpretation of fulfilled job requirements with micrometer, caliper, and other precision measuring instruments. - Technically proficient in the interpretation of insufficient weld criteria and knowledge to efficiently blend to repair. - Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solver who can understand and follow instruction. - Accountability for completion of daily work assignments while monitoring quality, safety, and health regulations. - Operate overhead cranes and or forklifts. - Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements and is physically / medically qualified to wear required PPE per OSHA standards. - Responsibilities may require sedentary work, including but not limited to computer operation, video review, classroom or online training, job observations/inspections, and peer work review. - Prepares for ISO 9001 and other audits. *Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.* **Competencies** - Collaboration Skills - Reliable Attendance - Decision Making - Leadership - Communication proficiency written and verbal - Ethical Conduct. - Problem Solving - Organizational Skills - Thoroughness - Time Management **Supervisory Responsibility** This position has no supervisory responsibilities. **Work Location** This position will work out of our facilities in Jacksonville, FL. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is sometimes exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. **Physical Demands**While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand.
