The Hope Center provides medical care, dental services, and case management to individuals living with HIV/AIDS. The HOPE Center also offers additional supportive services including a housing program, COMPASS Pharmacy services, and transportation assistance for medical appointments. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, a great schedule, and a healthy work-life balance, allowing you to grow your career while maintaining time for what matters most to you. *This position will be based in Macon, GA (Bibb County) and does not offer relocation assistance. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance. If relocating to Macon or surrounding area, please specify on the application.* Under broad supervision, provides comprehensive medical services by examining patients, diagnosing conditions, and delivering treatment, with a focus on HIV/AIDS care and infectious disease management. The physician will provide diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and ongoing disease management for patients living with HIV/AIDS, while directing nurses, aides, and other staff in patient care and treatment. This position works closely with the HOPE Center Director and Clinical Nurse Manager to identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks, improve clinical efficiencies across the agency, and support high-quality patient outcomes. The role may also include participating in research efforts. **Primary Duties & Responsibilities** - Provide comprehensive primary and specialty medical care to patients enrolled in the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of HIV/AIDS and related conditions. - Conduct physical examinations, review medical histories, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans. - Prescribe and monitor antiretroviral therapy (ART) and other medications in accordance with current HIV treatment guidelines and standards of care. - Monitor patient progress, treatment adherence, viral suppression, and overall health outcomes through routine follow-up visits and care coordination. - Provide preventive care services, including screenings, immunizations, risk-reduction counseling, and education related to HIV/AIDS, sexually tran…
