Physical Therapist (Full-Time)

If you’re passionate about helping others, enjoy working with a senior population, and want to be part of a supportive, mission-driven team—this is the place for you. **What You’ll Do** - Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals and patient goals - Provide hands-on therapy services to improve mobility, function, and overall quality of life - Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans based on clinical response and outcomes - Document evaluations, treatments, and progress accurately and in a timely manner - Apply clinical judgment to ensure safe and effective treatment approaches - Educate residents and families on therapy programs, goals, and progress - Collaborate with nursing, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care - Support a safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols - Stay current with best practices and continue professional development to maintain licensure - Provide leadership and guidance to support staff when applicable **Must Have Skills** - Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (APTA/CAPTE preferred) - Active Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida - Current CPR certification - Strong clinical knowledge and ability to develop individualized treatment plans - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and staff **Nice to Have Skills** - Experience working with the geriatric population - 2+ years of physical therapy experience - Experience in senior living, healthcare, or rehabilitation settings **How You’ll Grow Here** In your first 12–24 months, you’ll have opportunities to: - Expand your expertise in geriatric therapy and functional mobility programs - Build strong interdisciplinary relationships across Health Services - Participate in ongoing training and continuing education - Take an active role in improving therapy programs and resident outcomes **Compensation & Benefits** **Base Pay:** $51.00-$52.00 Hourly **Additional Perks at Vicar’s Landing:** - Holiday bonus opportunities - Scholarship and professional development programs - **Free daily meals** **Benefits Snapshot:** - Health, dental, and vision coverage - Retirement savings plan - Generous paid time off - A supportive, team-first culture focused on quality care **Why Vicar’s Landing?** At Vicar’s Landing, therapy is about more than treatment plans—it’s about helping residents stay active, independent, and engaged in the life they love.
