Check out our employee perks [here](https://www.brgeneral.org/sites/default/files/documents/BRG-Employee-Perks.pdf)! **What You Will Do:** Plan and implement physical therapy treatment programs for assigned patients in accordance with medical diagnosis and rehabilitation goals, collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary team. · Complete patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and interdisciplinary team goals · Provide therapy services including mobility training, strength and endurance exercises, coordination, self-care training, sensory stimulation, and gait training · Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and techniques to support recovery · Document all care provided including assessments, treatments, progress, and billing procedures per department standards · Collaborate with team members during interdisciplinary conferences to align care plans and discharge strategies · Coordinate and recommend discharge needs, including conducting home evaluations and arranging for necessary equipment · Train staff on patient-specific equipment and care procedures · Participate in continuing education, departmental meetings, and performance improvement initiatives · Provide mentorship, training, and supervision to assistants, techs, students, and volunteers · Fulfill other duties and projects as assigned **What Sets BRG Apart:** At Baton Rouge General, we are a community of compassionate, caring individuals who set the bar when it comes to healthcare excellence.
