Certified by the State of Florida in the appropriate subject area. Physical Requirements: Light work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force as frequently as needed to move objects. Satisfactory clearance of a Criminal History Records check and drug screening. ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Physical requirements may increase based on specific job requirements PRIMARY PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Meets physical requirements necessary to demonstrate proper use of weight equipment and cardiovascular equipment as well as effectively demonstrates/utilizes equipment with students Supervises and assumes responsibility for student safety and well being while maintaining order and discipline Meets physical requirements necessary to effectively demonstrate various physical education activities/movement skills (i.e., calisthenics, corrective exercises, team sports, indoor and outdoor games) Organizes, leads, and referees games taught in class Administers first aid and/or CPR in emergency situations as deemed necessary Provides locker room supervision.
