**\*This role commutes to Redding & Chico, CA\*** Provider will not be rounding in Red Bluff at this time. For the past four years, we’ve partnered with top-tier nursing and skilled care facilities nationwide to manage pain and enhance therapy outcomes, helping thousands of patients regain independence and comfort. **We’re Hiring:** We are seeking a passionate, motivated provider to join us full-time and independently offer care and consultations at our contracted facilities. **Day-to-Day Responsibilities** As a physiatrist, you will round at 2 Skilled Nursing Facilities, 1 facility located in Chico CA on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and 1 facility located in Redding on Tuesdays and Thursdays (current schedule, days of the week subject to change). Your primary focus will be delivering specialized physiatry care to 27+ patients per day who are experiencing difficulty participating in therapy due to pain or functional limitations. Key responsibilities include: - Performing focused assessments and developing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with facility primary care teams to optimize therapy participation and functional recovery. - Providing targeted interventions such as joint injections, Botox treatments, dry needling, and medication management based on patient-specific needs. - Serving as the sole physiatrist on-site, operating with a high level of autonomy while supported by a collaborative clinical team for consultation as needed. - Coordinating care and referring to other specialties or services for issues beyond the scope of physiatry. This role is best suited for a self-motivated and confident clinician who thrives in independent practice environments and is passionate about improving rehabilitation outcomes. **Qualifications:** - Current, unrestricted PA or NP license. - DEA licensed or willing to obtain DEA licensure. - Nursing home and/or physiatry experience is a plus, but not required. - Comfort and interest in performing peripheral joint injections (knees, shoulders, hips). - A genuine passion for providing professional, personalized care in an autonomous environment. - Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. - Familiarity with EHR charting **Why Iconic Care?** - **Hands-on training** in facility settings to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
